«Pushkinskaya-10″ is the place where the great independent spirit of Saint-Petersburg gets born. The former squat “Pushkinskaya-10” is today one of the biggest art-centers in the world. It consists of art-galleries, clubs, museums and artist studios.

The Museum of Nonconformist Art has the only one of its kind collection of informal artworks and unique documentations of second half of XX-th century. In the evening the well-known clubs will open the doors for the visitors. In «Fish Fabrique» with the new hall «Fabrique Nouvelle» usually give concerts young rock groups. Fans of avantguard music, philosophy and literature can visit the Gallery of Experimental Sound GEZ-21.

The unique art space was created more than 20 years ago but still is the main point of modern Saint-Petersburg art and unofficial culture. «Pushkinskaya-10″ is the largest collective artwork created by the Petersburg artists at the turn of the XX and the XXI-st century. The concept of a Parallelsphere describes the Art centre «Pushkinskaya-10″ as a spontaneous kinetic object of modern culture.

In the art-centre are regularly guided tours in Russian and foreign languages (English, German, French). The guests will be offered a unique opportunity not only to learn about the history of the legendary Saint-Petersburg art-centre and the history of informal culture and art of Leningrad as a whole, but also to see the “Pushkinskaya-10” from the inside: to visit the cult places and studios of famous artists, whose works are in many museum and private collections in Russia and abroad.  In the art studios the visitors will be able to meet and to talk with the artists, become witnesses of the creating process and also buy artworks.
