Yuri Nashivochnikov solo exhibition: «The Genius of Russian avant-garde»

Opening Reception January 14th, 5 p.m.

In the honor of Yuri Aleekseevich Nashivochnikov’s birthday the Museum of Nonconformist Art is hosting his solo exhibition under the title «The Genius of Russian avant-garde». The exhibit contains his work, made in the period between 1968 and 1976, there will also be screened films dedicated to the artist’s work. Alongside in the exhibition, Y. A. Nashivochnikov will host a series of lectures: «Objectified and nonobjectified fine art works»/ Curator- Yevgeny Orlov

A thought came to me once, about the fate of the German watchmaker Johann Kirsten, who invented the round pin. But what if the pin was square or rectangular or even triangular?
